Fort Erie, ON - March, 27, 1998 - The Freight Carriers Association of Canada (FCA) and the North American Transportation Council (NATC) announce the release of their new Quick Rate System for Windows™. This PC based program is designed to improve productivity by combining the features of FCA/NATC’s leading DOS based pricing and rating system with the inherent strengths and advantages of Windows 95 and Windows 3.1.

Available off the shelf with US, US/Canada and Canadian domestic rate structures, and designed in a modular format, Quick Rate System for Windows™ can be tailored to the needs of each individual user. Individual customer rate structures can also be integrated into the System.

The System modules include:

Major System features include the ability to create ASCII data files, the ability to recognize price differences between direct and indirect points, the ability to use customer specific lane rates and the ability to calculate interline revenue splits during the rating process.

Quick Rate System for Windows™ also contains rate quote management tools to end the frustration of misplaced or lost quotes. Stored quotes can be retrieved by customer name, date, or quote number.

An evaluation copy of Quick Rate System for Windows™ is available upon request. Carriers, shippers and third parties involved with LTL pricing are encouraged to contact FCA/NATC for their copy.
